The Panama Chamber of Shipping  represents the strength of a constantly growing industry.

During the last 40 years has achieved a position in the market obtaining a world-wide recognition as leaders in the maritime scope.  It is up to us to unify internally, in order to keep optimizing the effectiveness levels and continue fulfilling the expectations of the growing market. 

Our economy is growing, specially the maritime industry.

The expansion of the canal has created great expectations, making us an unquestionable important piece in the international maritime sector. It is a challenge that we have assumed with responsibility and which we may face for the sake of the economic well-being of the country.

We are adding hands, not only for what the Panama Canal and it’s expansion means, but for what it represents, that this growth may be supported by a solid maritime industry, which depends on ports offering wide capacity and quality service, to be able to offer auxiliary services, that more and more statutes and laws adjusted to the requirements and international standards exist, to be proactive and cautious with our most valuable assets.

Nowadays we are allies looking for common goals, to offer better tools of qualification and maritime education; to participate in the development of a solid and long term maritime strategy; to offer the wide professional experience gathered in the distinguished members of the Panama Shipping Chamber, to put it under disposition of the state, the maritime organizations and our own industry.
